We are the Coachella Valley chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America

DSACV is funded by our membership. This ensures that DSACV members are in full democratic and political control of our organization. Through national dues and local contributions, DSACV members self-fund our own tools for liberation. No one is turned away for lack of funds. If you’d like to become a DSA member but cannot afford any of the dues options, dues waivers are available upon request.

If you’d like to become a DSACV member, first you must join through the national DSA membership page. Once you have paid dues (both annual and monthly options are available), you will receive a confirmation email from the national organization.

Membership is open to dues-paying members of DSA who live in the greater Coachella Valley territory recognized by DSA. You can use this tool to check if your zip code falls within our chapter boundaries. After registering as a DSA member with your current address, you will automatically become a member of DSACV. As new member interest increases, DSACV will begin hosting regular New Member Orientation meetings. In the meantime, DSACV is happy to speak one-on-one with any prospective new member. To schedule a one-on-one meeting, please email us at dsacoachellavalley@gmail.com.
